Your dream as a filmmaker

To create and tell stories that move emotionally and translate them into stunning moving images that are meant to be watched on big screen. Moreover I like to express my own feelings and experiences in a more artistic, poetical and experimental way apart from the cinemascope. In the future I want to take a step further into the fields of Video Art and Installations. I would love to see my work at some stage in time within a conceptual Art exhibition.

Describe your experience at Landscape Film Festival

It was great! It was magic! I came there weak, I got out strong! It is fabulous what you can create in such a short time, when you are put within the right team of likeminded, creative and skilled people.

How was it to work with unknown people?

Absolutely wonderful! We matched together like a fist into the eye. (German saying )

How was the creative process?

For some reason, there was abit magic in the air. Within minutes the roles of who does what within the crew were divided almost automatically. Everybody got the role he or she was happy with and best capable of. The development of the script was like a flow between me, the director and our 2 actress Nathalie and Sarah. We all shared a past experience with intense but broken love, the pain, the grief and the moving on process. All of this created a specific understanding of each other and made the creative process fantasticly flourish.

Which was the thing you enjoyed the most?

That everybody was from a different country and contributed therefore with their own experiences and cultural backgrounds, which made it as well such a nice and international experience. And not to forget, what I loved so much on our team the most, was first of all the good mood of everybody, the appreciation for each others work and the consciousness, that to make a movie, good teamwork is essential. .

Which was your main motivation to join Landscape Film Festival?

Meeting new people to create a wonderful moving image within a team.
And the mission was more than successful! We are still working together!
Yeah!

Which would be your advice to future participants?

Whatever you want to shoot, don’t forget to make a shooting schedule with stopping times for each scene. So that you don’t shoot to much material, which you later need to squeeze within the maximal duration of 10min.This can be quiet a challenge! Never underestimate the editing time! And please don’t forget to have fun and sleep.
